Culinary home vacation
« Culinary home vacation » is a new concept launching in February 2016 based on my passions for cooking and entertaining, with my wife Slavie.
It suggests we invite groups of paying guests (between 6 and 10) for a week in our house in Seillans Var, to cook and share with us beautiful simple (or not so simple) French or international meals.
You will have breakfast with our homemade jams, lunches and dinners at the house or local restaurants.
Upon arrival you will stay in a beautiful room or apartment for 6 days with a daily program consisting of a minimum of 3 cooking lessons, going to shop at the local markets to get the freshest fruits and vegetables of the season, visit different vineyards with tastings or olive oil makers, towns like St Tropez, Cannes, Nice or Grasse, eating in the house or picnicking by the river or the lake.
Of course there will be time off to relax by the pool, play American pool, pétanque, ping pong or simply go to the forest to pick up mushrooms in season to improve our meals.
On the last day of your stay we will serve you breakfast and say good bye.

The Countess De Savigny owned Le Foulon house and created the first perfume factory in France around 1880, then it was a temporary hospital during the first great war and became the stables of the Seillans chateau.
For your stay the house is composed of a very large living room with a giant fireplace and kitchen, then 3 suite apartments and a double bedroom, all with individual bathrooms, for a maximum capacity of 12 persons.
The lovely swimming pool area, surrounded with roses and plants has an enchanting cascade, and the pool is equipped with a wave pump, the terrace is furnished with several lounge chairs and a covered daybed.
A pool house and a vast terrace with dinning and cooking area plus a professional barbecue are waiting for you to cook the fish and vegetables of the day.
Speakers all around will diffuse the music from your i’pod or the CD’s of the house.
There are also games such as a pétanque field, ping pong table, an American pool table 5X9” and bicycles.
